Video: Kogi State civil servant loses after being unable to pay for child’s treatment

Tragedy has fallen on a family in Kogi state after a couple lost their daughter because they could not pay hospital bills.

The father of the deceased who is a civil servant was captured on camera weeping and calling his daughter’s name.

In a video that surfaced on social media, the man was seen crying as he revealed that he was unable to pay his daughter’s hospital bills.

He explained that the Kogi state government owes him ten month salary, adding that it was the reason he couldn’t afford the bills.

The leadership of organised labour in Kogi state recently called on President Buhari to come to the rescue of workers in the state.

Workers in Kogi State haven’t been paid their salaries and wages some up to a year and other more than a year.

Video: Linus Idahosa, Nigerian Entrepreneur, responds to spurios claims by an uninformed US Lawyer, Bruce Fein, that Nigeria is under siege

A United State constitutional lawyer, Bruce Fein has made some laughable and spurious allegation about Nigeria and President Mohammodu Buhari.

The lawyer would be recalled was in Nigeria in August this year to interview ten Nigerian witnesses on the suit filed in the United States District court of Columbia against 14 Nigerian defendants for their alleged involvement in the 2016 alleged torture and extra-judicial killings of pro Biafran agitators during their peaceful protests.

Ten Biafran plaintiffs are seeking millions of dollars ‎as damages to compensate for their grievous losses and suffering following the alleged gruesome killings of pro Biafra agitators in Nkpor and Onitsha , Anambra State and Aba, Abia State in 2016 during the demonstration for the release of the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.

The uninformed lawyer, in a separate video posted online also claimed President Buhari is worse than Isis and is waging a war against the Nigerian people.

He also said the Nigerian government is all out to destroy the christian religion, demanding the UN take actions against the Buhari’s government over allegations of  genocide against the Igbos.




Video shows Soldiers torturing IPOB members

The Nigerian Army were seen in a video showing the torturing of men believed to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has surfaced on social media.

In the viral video, the soldiers can be seen forcing the men to swim in dirty swamp water while flogging them with canes.

According to the individual who filmed the video, the incident took place along Aba-Umuahia road.

Video: Nigerian Army denies attacking IPOB members

The Nigerian Army has denied report that it invaded the house of Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, leader Nnamdi Kanu.

It also denied report that three people were killed by Nigerian Army when in a confrontation with IPOB.

In a statement, Major Oyegoke Gbadamosi, Assistant Director Army Public Relations 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, rather said a group of suspected IPOB militants blocked the road against troops of 145 Battalion while on show of force along FMC-Word Bank Road in Umuahia town, Abia State at about 6.00-6.30pm, today.

According to him, “attention of 14 Brigade Nigerian Army, has been drawn to fictitious news going round especially on the social media that troops have invaded the home of Nnamdi Kanu and killed 3 persons” he said.

“This is far from the truth. Rather, it was a group of suspected IPOB militants that blocked the road against troops of 145 Battalion while on show of force along FMC-Word Bank Road in Umuahia town, Abia State at about 6.00-6.30pm, today.

“They insisted that the military vehicles would not pass and started pelting the soldiers with stones and broken bottles to the point of injuring an innocent female passerby and a soldier, Corporal Kolawole Mathew”.

“The troops fired warning shots in the air and the hoodlums dispersed. No life was lost”.

“Therefore the public are kindly enjoined to disregard the rumours going round and the fictitious photographs of purported victims of attack. Both the soldier and the innocent female passerby have been evacuated to the unit’s Medical Inspection Room and are receiving treatment”.

“We would like to use this opportunity to warn mischief makers threatening the peace and security of the country through falsehood such as above”.

“Members of the public are please requested to go about their lawful business and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station or security outfit”.

Video: One injured as military Invades Nnamdi Kanu home

Several allegedly injured and one person shot on Sunday evening when soldiers opened fire on supporters of the leader of the Indigenous Peoples of Biafra , Nnamdi Kanu at his Afraukwu Umuahia country home.

Kanu who narrated the incident to journalists, said the soldiers allegedly stormed his home in an armoured tank and three Hilux vans loaded with heavily armed soldiers.

He said the soldiers wanted to gain entry into his father’s compound but that IPOB members quickly formed a human shield around the compound and stoutly resisted them.

He also insisted that no amount of intimidation would make him abandon the struggle for Biafra independence.

“I was sleeping this evening (Sunday) when suddenly I was woken up by the blaring of sirens . Initially, I thought it was the Commissioner of Police who lives in the neighborhood that was returning home . But the blaring persisted and was followed up by sporadic gun shots .

“ The soldiers wanted to bulldoze their way into the palace but IPOB members formed a human shield and resisted them. They wanted to break the shield and fired at three persons and wounded others before leaving . Everybody including children was running away in confusion”.

Video: Okada rider knocked down by vehicle while trying to run away from policeman punishing him

An okada rider was knocked down by a vehicle while being punished by a policeman for parking wrongly on Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.

In a video footage by Instablog9ja, the man was seen doing a Frog Jump under the supervision of a gun-toting policeman.

After a few jumps, the man stood up and fled. He was, however, chased by the policeman but was knocked down by an oncoming vehicle.
